What Ladder should I be using?

So what ladder should I be using onsite or at home and what are the advantages of each different option?

Lets take a look at the most common ladder options out there used by both tradies and DIYers alike.

 

Firstly the good ole trusty Double Sided Ladder – the most commonly used ladder for those “just out of reach places”.

Now for those spots just a little higher up we look to the Dual Purpose Ladders.

Ladder Features:

The most commonly used ladder by the trade is the Platform Ladder – this is because of its safety features of providing 3 points of contact and is generally always recommended on most large worksites in NZ nowadays.
